COURTHOUSE ELOPEMENT PHOTO MOMENTS

Candid moments make the best photos for couples too. This laid back and easy going session allows couples to be themselves. Choose a location that means something to you, perhaps where you had your first date, a local coffee shop or a wine bar. Or incorporate a shared hobby like hiking, cooking, or paddle boarding, making photos more memorable and personal.

These incredibly sweet ceremonies with just the couple, strip away the stress and performance of a traditional wedding. This allows for a meaningful and intimate experience. Details like a bouquet, hand written vows or love letters, a custom cake or a champagne toast are highly recommended but not required. These ceremonies take place Mon-Thurs at a courthouse of choice!

MICRO-WEDDING

50 GUESTS OR UNDER

Micro-weddings are small, intimate ceremonies with no more than 50 guests. Perfect for the couple who’s style does not include a big wedding ceremony or for those wanting a more affordable experience. These ceremonies are still planned and can include a location that holds special meaning, live music, an intimate reception, untraditional dresses, or unique catering and drink ideas. All the love and celebration just on a small scale.

HOW TO

WORK

WITH ME

STEP 1

INITIAL INQUIRY

Complete the inquiry form on my contact page or send an email to [email protected] with more information on what you are looking for.

STEP 2

OFFICIAL BOOKING

After we connect and go over date availability and session or wedding details, I will send a link to give access to your client portal. Here you will need to sign a contract, pay the 25% deposit and fill out the questionnaire. These are required to secure your date. After confirming you will receive a welcome email with all the details.

STEP 3

PLANNING & SESSION DAY

As soon as your session or ceremony date and time is confirmed we will plan final details. After your session or ceremony you will receive your digital files within 4 weeks for engagements and elopements and 6 weeks for micro-weddings, via an online gallery.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

For engagement or couples sessions I recommend choosing a location that holds special meaning, don’t be afraid to be creative. For courthouse elopements, feel free to inquire about a courthouse your interested in. For micro-weddings I travel as far as an hour from Montrose.

02.

Travel fees will apply to any location further then 30 miles from Montrose, CO. Fees are $0.54/mile round trip.

03.

Gallery editing and turn around time is 3-4 weeks for engagement and courthouse elopements and 6 weeks for micro-weddings. Rush delivery of 1 week is available for a $150 add on fee.

04.

Sessions may be rescheduled for an unexpected emergency, an illness or for rain. The session must be rescheduled within 2 weeks following the original session date.


Cancellations must be made 48 hours before your scheduled booking. PLEASE NOTE: Deposits are non-refundable if you choose to cancel.

You will need to contact the courthouse you plan on getting married at to find out their requirements. Steps usually include filling out an online marriage application, scheduling an appointment to pick up the license, bringing required legal documents for both parties to the appointment such as a valid id and social security number, then get married! If you want a judge to perform the ceremony you will most likely need to make an appointment or wait until one is available. Colorado is a self-solemnizing state, so not all courthouses perform ceremonies. If you choose, you can just sign the marriage license and be married, no witness of officiant needed.

06.

Due to the custom nature of photography and the fact that digital images can not be returned once sent, there is a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY.
